This SUNSET changed colors with each shot I took. We were hoping for rain from those clouds.
It never showed up till just the last couple of days. Now we are getting rain once a day in the evenings and the night temperature is great for sleeping. Those of you visiting Denver this week have had some very nice weather. If this continues, the 4th of July will be just perfect. Fireworks will be permitted due to the rain. It would have been a real disappointment to have the 4th of July and no fireworks.

This year they expect to beak records at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, let’s see what the Colorado mountain weather bring to the race. Of course you will have to wait till race day to discover this. Not to mention the climate changes they will experience on the way to the top. We are expecting some light rain here in Colorado, so this could mean some snow at the top. “The fun of it all!” Here is a quick excerpt PPIHC website: The “9 Minute Club,” all five competitors who have broken the once elusive 10-minute barrier will be in the race; Rhys Millen (9:46.164 in 2012), Romain Dumas (9:46.181 in 2012), Nobuhiro Tajima (9:51.278 in 2011), Carlin Dunne (9:52.819 in 2012) and Greg Tracy (9:58.262 in 2012).

But based on practice and testing times this week, it may result in the first sub-nine minute mark and new records in almost every division on the fully paved 12.42 mile course with 156 turns if the mountain and the weather cooperate with race organizers.
Sunday’s forecast for Colorado Springs itself is a high of 82 degrees with a 10% chance of precipitation, but that’s for the city, not the course, which begins at 9,390 feet and ends at 14,110 feet at the mountain’s finish line.
Fans will recall that the weather at the summit last year chipped in with hail, snow and rain in the late afternoon, with the last few divisions going back down the hill to a new finish line and a shortened circuit.

A new topic came about after watching this video. Fashion is a loose term that can be applied many different ways. For men this is a lost art these days. Yes! We are still men and can enjoy the finer things in life. We all define ourselves in different ways. Casual is cool and elegant is just that. Create stature and presence with your personal care. Others will notice and you might find that you like the mileage you get out of it. Stay in shape and eat healthy. All things you have heard many times and in many places. Age helps define this as well. No matter what your style or fashion might be, do it to the best of your ability. Make certain it fits your character and physical qualities.
Take a friend shopping with you if you think you need help. Stripes and polka dots do not fit well together. Contrast on the other hand can do good, but that is best left for the designer’s to tackle. Colors are critical! I say that again “Colors are critical” and can make you look really nasty, no matter what the style you are trying to fit into. The old “What season are you?” is a good approach. You may find it hard to find someone who can properly implement this. If you can, I suggest making use of their knowledge. Stay clean and enjoy the video.
